Paul Hardy Rwandan Mask Project
Paul Hardy (10 years) has helped to restore dignity to survivors orphaned & homeless Rwanda youth.
100 young women have graduated from his Hopethiopia/Rwanda’s (HOPE’s) tailoring school, providing a safe vocation for house girls, abandoned young mothers, and those desperate to leave the violent life of the sex trade.
COVID-19 has impacted their livelihoods.
Paul wanted to help & empower these women & provide others with needed face coverings.
He contracted them to make masks of stunning fabric of Rwanda vibrant colour.
Rwanda citizens are required to wear masks but can not afford one.
With each mask purchase, one will be given to a Rwandan.
Machine washable Kitenge cloth; mouldable nose bridge, adjustable drawstring, internal pocket to accommodate an antibacterial or N95 filter (not included).
Large, Medium, Small (teen) and X-Small (child)
Cost: $18.00 each or $15.00 each for 3 or more.
Colours and patterns of the masks vary.
Available@ all EYEHEALTHCENTRE locations.
100% of the proceeds will go to sustaining initiative and raising funds for HOPE’s school and residences.
